BECOME A CHORISTER
Our 'Be a Chorister for the Afternoon' event has now passed. Parents who wish to enter their son for a choristership at CCCS should contact Laura Kemp, registrar@cccs.org.uk or call 01865 242561. Boys will be invited to sing a simple piece of music with our Director of Music, Sophie Biddell, sit an assessment on writing and mathematics and interview with the Headmaster.
Small class sizes and outstanding pastoral care mean that the boys can engage in a broad and balanced academic curriculum, in addition to singing in an internationally recognised choir. Choristers rehearse every weekday morning and sing Evensong in the Cathedral six times a week. This busy schedule develops their musical skills and nurtures key skills such as leadership, teamwork and time management. Boys selected for choristerships have 60% of their school fees at CCCS paid by the Cathedral for the duration of their time as a Chorister.
Further information on choristerships is available here.
To arrange a tour of our school and meet with our Headmaster, please contact Laura Kemp on 01865 242561 or email: registrar@cccs.org.uk
