Year 4 Teacher

The role includes being the form teacher for our Year 4 class, teaching them English, Mathematics, PSHE and the Humanities. The successful candidate will also do some teaching higher up the school, either in the Humanities or Games, and take part in our extra-curricular enrichment programme.

Pre-Prep Reception Teacher

Required for September 2024. We are looking for an energetic, adaptable, and dynamic Reception Teacher, who would enjoy playing a crucial role in the life of our unique school. An exceptional EYFS practitioner, with proven experience of achieving outstanding pupil outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a creative approach to planning the curriculum and will be focused on inspiring children by providing engaging experiences within a well thought out learning environment, with excellent continuous provision.

Part-Time School Cleaner (with Handyperson skills)

Hours of work

Term time hours: 6.00am to 9.00am, Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week

School holiday hours: 7.00am to 10.00am, Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week

6 weeks’ paid holiday (1 at Christmas, 1 at Easter, 3 in the summer holidays, plus 2 days each half term)

£11.44 per hour

£8,717.28 per year, which equates to £726.44 per month

We pay monthly on 27th of each month by BACS transfer.

Responsibilities

The person appointed will have a designated area to clean on a daily basis during term time. During school holiday periods, deep cleaning of different areas will be carried out as required at the direction of the cleaning supervisor.

The person appointed will also be expected to assist the Head of Maintenance with ad hoc caretaker-type tasks as needed.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview. They must bring their passport with them, in order that we can check applicants’ right to work in the UK. References for all shortlisted candidates will be checked prior to interview.

The successful applicant will be required to fill in a Disclosure and Barring form that will be used by us to ensure that they are allowed to work with children.

A barred list search will be made.

Once all clearances have been successfully completed, the successful applicant can start work.
