Private Independent Day School for Boys 3 - 13 & Girls 3 - 7, Flexi-Boarding for Boys 8 - 13

The best way to experience CCCS is to see it for yourself. We would be delighted to show you around our lovely school and introduce you to our staff and pupils.

We hold several Open Mornings each year. All prospective parents and their families are warmly invited. For more details about Open Morning, please scroll down.

If you would like to arrange a private tour (approx 1 hour), which involves meeting the Headmaster, a tour of the school, and experiencing the atmosphere of a normal school day, please email our Registrar, Mrs Laura Kemp, or call 01865 242561.

In the meantime, you can get a snapshot of the School by visiting our School Video Gallery

Families will be taken on a tour of the School by a Year 8 pupil and see our teaching spaces, facilities and beautiful grounds. Your visit will also include a talk by the Headmaster and other senior teachers and pupils.

Our 'Be a Chorister for the Afternoon' event has now passed.

Parents who wish to enter their son for a choristership at CCCS should email us, or call 01865 242561. Boys will be invited to sing a simple piece of music with our Director of Music, Sophie Biddell, sit an assessment on writing and mathematics and interview with the Headmaster.

Small class sizes and outstanding pastoral care mean that the boys can engage in a broad and balanced academic curriculum, in addition to singing in an internationally recognised choir. Choristers rehearse every weekday morning and sing Evensong in the Cathedral six times a week. This busy schedule develops their musical skills and nurtures key skills such as leadership, teamwork and time management. Boys selected for choristerships have 60% of their school fees at CCCS paid by the Cathedral for the duration of their time as a Chorister.

Further information on choristerships is available here
