Form 5 had a culinary workshop making a traditional French cake.

Boys in Forms 3-8 were treated to an interactive French play, all about a young boy who wins a trip on a space rocket…where he soon discovers that everything is said and written in French! Judging by the laughter, the boys had a great time and were also on hand to help the actors with some transactions.

Next stop…Japan. Forms 3 and 4 were visited by students from Hertford College who taught them numbers, directions and colours in Japanese. The boys played games to enhance their learning, including a game which was a fun take on musical chairs. The boys were also able to impress by showcasing Japanese words they already knew!
