Learning beyond the classroom

Pre-Prep didn't let the chilly weather get in the way of enjoying a fabulous afternoon at Woodland School.
With their new tools in hand, the children explored the woodland to dig for treasure and made lots of discoveries, from shiny rocks, to a myriad of mini-beasts.
The swing was also in constant use, with children leaping on and swinging freely, whilst happily singing sea shanties!
Outside of one of the dens, they independently built a seesaw, which they delighted in balancing on.
A hot chocolate to warm the cockles brought another lovely afternoon in the ‘Great Outdoors’ to a fitting close.
