Organists visit St Peter's College, Oxford

Before Half Term, three CCCS boys - currently preparing for their Grade 4 and 5 organ exams - loaded up with their organ shoes and music, before heading to St Peter's College to try out its famous Willis organ.
The current senior organ scholar, Sebastian, used to be a Worcester Chorister and started learning the organ whilst still at CCCS. It was wonderful to see him, to hear him play some fiendishly hard Messiaen and Howells, and to get his advice and tips for the boys' playing. It's always exciting when old boys take up organ scholarships at Oxbridge, so I hope some of our current organists will find themselves in Sebastian's position one day!
