CCCS enjoys triple National Children's Orchestra Success
It is always an honour for a school to see one of its pupils awarded a place in the National Children’s Orchestra (NCO). So you can imagine our excitement when we learned that not one, not two, but three of our boys have been selected for the NCO 2026!
The National Children’s Orchestra (NCO) is one of the UK’s most prestigious and competitive youth music organisations. It runs a series of courses and concerts throughout the year, bringing together the most talented young musicians from across the country to work with leading conductors.
To have three students selected in a single year is truly special.
This is terrific news for William (violin), Terry (double bass) and Ian (double bass), and recognises their exceptional ability and diligent approach to practice.
Ms Biddell, alomg with the rest of the School, is incredibly proud of the boys. We hope they enjoy every moment of their time with the NCO, and we look forward to hearing more of their musical achievements in the future.
