Choral singing is good for you!

As we excitedly welcome our children and Choristers back to CCCS after the summer break, it is great see that The Times recently published an article sharing something we have known for some time – choral singing is good for you!
The Choir Schools Association (CSA) recently highlighted an article from The Times exploring the many benefits of singing in a choir.
From our own Cathedral and Day Choristers, we see first-hand how the experience nurtures confidence, teamwork, social skills, and friendships that often last a lifetime. But did you know there are also powerful health benefits? As journalist Elisabeth Braw explains, choral singing not only exercises the brain but can also help relieve pain and even support the immune system.
