Worcester Chapel Choir tour Italy

Our Worcester Chapel Choir Choristers tasted La Dolce Vita last week, when they took Italy by storm.

Their beautiful performances of Tallis, Elgar, Victoria and Byrd echoed through Florence and Arezzo - the birthplace of music notation.

The choir did also get to indulge in some sightseeing and activities, such as pasta-making and pizza-eating - well. it would have been rude not to!

A special moment was performing a packed Eucharist at St Mark's English Church where the choir received a standing ovation! The choir also gave a short performance to thank a member of staff at our accommodation which moved them to tears.

We are so incredibly proud of the boys, not only for delivering outstanding performances, but also their behaviour and being such great ambassadors for our School.

You can see a video, featuring a performance of "If ye love me" by Tallis here.
