Music Day at Abingdon School
We are very proud of Hugo and George who made the trip to Abingdon School yesterday to join Music staff at Abingdon School for their 'Make a noise' day today. Armed with their Clarinet and Trumpet, they learnt pieces by Tchaikovsky, Purcell and Beethoven from scratch.
Over 100 players formed a vast orchestra - made up from Abingdon's own pupils as well as visitors from a number of Prep schools - and it was wonderful to hear our boys performing in the Amey Theatre at the end of the day... not to mention spotting some of our own music staff during breaks between teaching their Abingdon pupils!
Hugo and George played impressively and were excellent ambassadors for CCCS Music. Well done both!
