Worcester College Choir Visit Gloucester Cathedral
Posted on 5th Nov, 2018
The choristers from Worcester College Choir sang Evensong magnificently under the vaulted ceiling of Gloucester Cathedral.
Before their performance, the Headmaster gave them a tour. In the fan-vaulted cloisters used in a Harry Potter Film they saw the monastic lavatorium, the place where the monks washed. They also saw the Great East Window, a wall of mediaeval glass bigger than the size of a tennis court; and in the Lady Chapel, a glorious architectural shoebox gleaming with colour, a tower of poppies, which moved them all.
