Vive la France at CCCS
Posted on 5th Jul, 2018

Tuesday (3rd July) was French Day at Christ Church Cathedral School.
All the pupils from Nursery to Form 8 spent the day exploring the language, music, history and geography of Britain's most important European neighbour. The School playground was transformed into a French market square with bunting and fresh fruit and vegetable stalls. The children enjoyed an al fresco lunch which included terrines, baguettes, hot camembert, crepes and fresh fruit. Robin Harskin, Deputy Head Academic, who is taking the older boys on a trip to France later this month, said: 'The children love to find out about France. I even got them singing the Marseillaise in assembly!'
