Concert of Contemporary Choral Music
Posted on 24th May, 2017

Last weekend Bristol Cathedral hosted our Cathedral Choir in a joint enterprise performing newly conditioned choral music.
The two choirs shared the repertoire which included a number of innovative service settings and responses alongside a selection of anthems. This eclectically avant-garde programme represents a significant departure from the boys' typical repertoire and it is a testament to their spirit of adventure that they presented it so expertly. The boys and I would like to pay tribute to the very warm welcome and gracious hospitality of our hosts who rounded off the evening with an invitation to join them for pizza and ice-cream.
