Oxford Orpheus Concert – A Musical Spectacle in Aid of Christ Church Cathedral School’s Chorister Outreach Programme

This year's Oxford Orpheus Concert was a spectacle of musical delights. It opened with the Coronation Anthem I Was Glad by Parry, followed by Vaughan Williams' setting of George Herbert's Five Mystical Songs and concluded with Fauré's Requiem.

Jan Morris, a historian, author and travel writer, who was born James Humphrey Morris, attended Christ Church Cathedral School in the 1930s, before joining the army at 17 to serve in the Second World War.
