On Tuesday, Form One had the pleasure of visiting Oxford's History of Science Museum. The day dawned bright and sunny - the perfect weather for the walk to the museum. Having made good time the children arrived eager for their workshop on the “Real Stuff”.
In Science lessons Form One have been looking at the properties and uses of different materials. During three activities at the museum the class got to explore some of the more unusual materials used throughout history. They even got to touch and test the feel of the raw materials, which was just “so cool” as one little scientist exclaimed! Finally the children made their own glasses with some interesting results.
