To be a parent at CCCS is to be an essential part of the School. Parents are always welcome and spend much time with one another. There are many social events organised by the Parents’ Association including the Christmas Punch Party and the Summer Ball, which is held in the gardens and buildings of Christ Church or Worcester College.
Throughout the year the School arranges other events for parents, be it a private tour of the College Picture Gallery or an evening of Real Tennis. Many parents come to Cathedral Assembly on Fridays after which there is coffee in the Cathedral’s Priory Room - an opportunity for them to catch up and to meet the visiting speaker, who will normally be a Canon of the Cathedral, a local priest, a University academic or a headmaster of a senior school. Parents at Christ Church know that not only are their children valued but so are they.
