The proximity of Christ Church’s playing fields and the regular teaching of Games in the curriculum means that a variety of sports can be developed in depth. At the same time, opportunities to play in school teams are greater than is usual in a larger school and there is always a busy list of fixtures. During the course of each year, boys play rugby, soccer, hockey, cricket and athletics, as well as going swimming every week for half of the year at a local indoor pool.
