The availability of computers in every classroom is complemented by a modern networked suite where IT skills can be taught or used with a whole class for subject teaching. A wide variety of software and Internet access make this facility a powerful and much-used learning tool. Nearby is the Reference Library, which provides resources for the support of many subjects and the opportunity to sit quietly and study. The Audio-visual Room opposite provides facilities for media and discussion work in several subjects. The Fiction Library is housed in the English classroom, where guidance can be on hand when pupils are choosing a book, and the Junior Library is based in Form 3’s classroom for the same reason.
